I'd say 120 going to Ng+ is good and will last you a while. Maybe Ng++ around 140/160 and cap maybe 180 by Ng+++.
Also you can't glitch now with the patch so leveling past that point will take you hours of grinding anyways. I mean theoretically you can beat it at low levels but the higher level just gives you the stats bonus and probably maxed endurance.

No you don't need to be 120. But it's probably easier to level with the reduced difficulty.
I went Ng+ at lvl 98

Yeah, I just want to be ready for NG+ just so I can run through it more easy and focus primarily on the platinum.
