I have been avoiding this thread but I just finished my first playthrough so I am here.

All I will say for now, until I read back a couple pages, is the story wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be.

Finally someone agrees with me. The ending was dog shit

aside from the horror infected parts the whole game was a big pile of mediocrity.

LoU was a sony exclusive that came out during the XB1 hate train. of course its going to be overhyped like fuck lol

I wouldn't go that far. I loved the game every bit until the ending. I felt like I didn't accomplish shit at the end

I kind of feel like the ending was tacked on just to keep it open for a sequel.
Joel went from "heartless, cold and calculated", had a turning point, then I am not sure where he finished off. But, it wasn't "like" Joel.

i feel like the ending isnt done and we have to await the DLC they wanted to make the ending so people would buy the DLC my guess who agrees?

Woah woah woah, game was solid 8/10 imo. Not perfect, but an all around good game.

I wouldn't give it thar low. I'd give it a 9.5 mainly because not many games got me so engaged and thrilled.

Would be a 10 but the ending ruined it
