Is the online like a Diablo online game? Never played any of the DS games

the online is of a variety of its own
it works like this
You start the game as a human (online)
when you die u become a hollow, (dead) (offline)

the way to go back online is to get a humanity to become human again
there are pvp areas that i think u dont need to be alive for (que style)
but the offers of offline of online are

human online
you can be invade as online from other players set to kill u
you can invade people
you can summon people to help you

offline
no summons
no invasions
i think u can help others with soapstone tho (set a mark on the ground, somebody from another world sees it, summons u to there world), to then gain back your humanity

Diablo2 will always be my favorite game... but darksouls isn't trying to clone diablo at all... its groundbreaking for new ideas, new concept entirely... but yes its just as fun as diablo

im still scratching my head over why so many people go crazy for a remake of a ps3 game
its been less than 10 years that its out
you can get it for 2-5$ without any problem

if you are into dark souls pvp i can surely understand but meh
to me its more a cashgrab (if they release it for 59,99$)

The Dark Souls series is actually a great game and it has the ratings to prove it and back it up. Again, go troll somewhere else. Your view on it is your feeling and if you don't like the game, stay out of this thread.

It's not just a ps3 game, it's dark souls. There is a reason there is hype. If it doesn't hype you then this thread isn't for you.
