You just said definitively PS4 has few games that appeal to adults and followed it up by it's all subjective.

I've thought about picking up shadow of mordor or the witcher, but I feel like id just be trying to chase my Bethesda high and end up, maybe not necessarily disappointed, but not getting into the game/ not having time for games that big, idk

The Witcher is very well received but is so large.
Shadow of Mordor I didn't like because it has that copy and paste combat from Batman: Arkham Asylum.

Nioh is in the Soulsbourne genre. Check that out.
Nier Automata looks good.
Marvel Heroes Omega is a f2p game similar to D3.

i didnt care for it the first time i played it either. i gave it another chance a year or so later and loved it. recently came back and started playing again.
the mobility is very satisfying.

they do updates and add stuff all the time as well.

its not for everyone i guess, requires a lot of grinding.

I think witcher will end up being the next game, I just hope I'm done with it when games like Destiny 2, red dead and anthem come out
