co-op is dead. This gen decided that gamers don't have friends and that if they do, they should both be able to buy their own systems.

My buddy and me play some games here and there together, but that requires me or him bringing over our system and an extra TV (if going to his house) and then just playing side-by-side.

Yeah dude they ruined it for me too. My friends used to come over and we all took turns playing against or with each other. I'm disgusted with this new generation and the world in general these days.

I thought for sure the new Ninja Turtle game would be 4 player couch co op, but they ruined that too

Literally the only co-op game I own is random Lego games that my 4 yr old plays lol. It's cool that I can hop in and at least play those with him, but it's fucking ridiculous that there's not a single fucking game I can play with my actual friends.

I bought the NES classic and I was soooooo fucking happy to play some co-op with my buddy and my dad. It's sad when the fucking NES has better co-op games than this fucking gen. Ridiculous.
