That sounds fairly accurate, especially if this project Scorpio is a real thing that Microsoft is working on

I'm not buying any of this new shit until some games come out for these consoles. 1080p is fine, what they need to be focusing on now is performance. Thats it. None of this 4k shit. Lets get 60 fps going on all games

I believe VR needs to be able to run at 100+ Fps
Which is why ps pro is the intended console for the vr experience
It's still running old gfx cards no matter how you look at it so it won't be enough for long

It could be the ps pro is a test run to see how popular vr will be

I'm convinced that 4k is the buzz word to get people to buy into buying new consoles. The average game gives absolutely zero fucks when anyone says 60fps. The average game buys cod, madden and Fifa every year. They are the literally the soccer moms of gaming. 4k is the current buzzword in televisions so naturally to get people to buy in you have to go that route.

I'm hoping that 4k being the buzzword means they are able to put enough power to put the system easily capable of supporting 60fps for any and all games. Ultimately it is up to the developers. The current ps4 is capable of 60 fps. We need both systems on equal footing. We can sit here bitching about one thing or another the simple fact is that the Xbox one has held multiplatform games back this generation this far much the same as the PS3 and the 360 held back what could have been an explosive entrance into this generation.

We will not see consistent 60 fps gaming on consoles until both the pro and the Scorpio are both out simultaneously and will not see it on ALL games until the ps5 and the Xbox 720360noscope420bitches
