Competitions don't work as an example because you want everything to be comparable against all players. It doesn't necessarily make it cheating.

But I don't believe the skill ceiling is different depending on the peripheral you are using.

its pretty much fact that the analogs are simply not as precise as a mouse
maybe if its a garbage default dell mouse sure but any sort of gaming mouse will shit on controller

you can still get good with controller but if you were equally skilled with a mouse you would do better

i mean the fact is theres people who are choosing mice over the controller ... that should be enough proof

My argument isn't that mouse and keyboard isn't more accurate than a controller. My argument is that using it is not cheating and the skill ceiling is not different depending on peripheral.

If there is a scale from 0-10 measuring skill and a player with controller inheritly starts at a 4 but a mouse and keyboard starts at a 6, the mouse and keyboard isn't cheating. They both can be 10's.

Saying the mouse and keyboard is cheating is like comparing two cars drag racing. The one with more horsepower is cheating.

im simply arguing its really cheap becasue mouse is proven to have higher ceiling

shit i might do it i never knew that was out i prefer mouse+keyboard and if i can play bf on console with it... why not
idc if its cheap haha im just to oused to m+k now and im not a fan of the ps4 controller i liked the ps3 one better

mouse can move so much more faster and cover so much more space then a controller
a max sens analog is only so fast u can up the settings on the mouse and then move it crazy fast by hand like a milasecond across the screen
specially if you have one of those giant like 2 feet long gaming mouse pads lol

its fact a mouse and keyboard is better stop trying to argue they are equal its not :P
its much harder to hit the max ceiling with m+k as the sens can be too high for some but some people are good like that
