for a first guide i thought it was nb, but there was some things you didn't touch on that were important,
farron flashsword and greatsword aren't parriable, only the staff is, if you space them properly i don't think you can be parried

also newer players might need why backdashing towards an opponent is beneficial especially when using homing spells, as they only activate when facing an opponent

think I only put farron flash sword.
but I've parried just the spell. you can parry the flash sword even if they get you, at max range

and true but i'd figured most people should know that

beginners won't and you would be amazed how many people in dark souls have no clue how to use magic because they've only ever melee'd and want to make a mage.

lmao just the other day some guy messaged me he was like
"and all mage build is the worst"
I was on my quality build so I told him 1v1 my mage
we dueled it was like 7-2 I think
imo they just think magic sucks and/or wouldn't know how to make
I wanna make a battle caster guide but I still needa do some test and get certain items
I can do it with same stat set up as the mage moon light
pumping 470 ar around there with heysel pick
and using great magic shield I get 100% sorb with buckler using it.
and for spells would be soul great sword and farron flash and combos would be like r1 spell cast or r1 r1 spell cast etc.
with rings running sage ring+1 stamina ring, bellowing dragon crest and the other one that boost sorceries but not greatly.
