Two reasons. A console bottlenecks at the CPU and heat dissipation.
Having a faster seek time will see very fractional improvement since the bottle neck is at the CPU. This is why a SSH isn't really worth it either.
And heat. There is currently a 5400 rpm in there. A 7200 rpm will produce more heat. Making the average temp higher.
