I assume they are doing it because of the survey they sent out asking what ps4 users wanted in future system updates. One of the options was ps1/2 classics.

I didn't drop over half a stack to play ps1/2 games.. lmao

If someone asked if you want $100 you would say yes, if someone completely different asked if you wanted another $100 the correct response is again yes. Which is basically what is happening here

However your response seems like it would be no the second time because you are afriad the second completely unrelated $100 might interfere with your first 100 somehow?

I don't see playing ps1/2 games as an interesting or exciting option for my NEXT GEN gaming experience. Unlike receiving $100 from 1 or 2 different people.

some people like the option to go back and play older games without having to hook up an old system
plus the fact they need to have the disk to play it on a PS2

and this has no negative effect on your NEXT GEN gaming experience

Analogy makes perfect sense, you are getting two valuable options that have zero impact on each other.

Saying 'derp 100 equals 100 but ps2 games are less valuable than ps4 games' or something also doesn't work because as I am saying for a 3rd time, people were asked 'do you want this' and obviously enough people said 'yes' to make it worth doing, otherwise it wouldn't be happening.
