from that 8 minute gameplay footage video(didn't realize it was out) it looks a bit clunky and simple, but kinda fun nonetheless.
It would be nice if they could make it a bit more difficult, and maybe add Player controlled titans..Could almost be like a version of evolve that doesn't suck so much

well it's still in development (and has been for 3 years with mechanics being scraped multiple times) I believe getting the 3DMG mechanics right was one thing they mentioned having been a focus so other mechanics may not have been ready yet when they showed off the game
my assumption of the video was them showing off the 3DMG mechanics which look even better than they were in the 3DS game, which is the 1 thing I praise about the 3DS game is how good the 3DMG mechanics felt

It looks boring to me and I feel like they're just milking fanboys
me knowing the series, I feel like the game doesn't have much to offer and as is looks stale

well while overall the 3DS game can be meh (mind you I never actually tried playing with other people on it) the 3DMG mechanics felt VERY good and gave me a very high expectation for what KT needs to do for this game just on those mechanics and so far it looks good
but in the video I've seen the screen so far appears to lack details on the screen that could be useful and I imagine they will end up being some aspects you'll need to watch for (like maintaining gas levels for the 3DMG)

other than 3DMG mechanics though I don't have high expectations for other aspects since the 3DS game was fairly meh everywhere else (crits on the neck killed most titans making generic titans very simple to deal with, AI mercs were horrible as they often had a hard time saving you, while mechanics to escape a titan grasp existed it was rare when you did escape, useful materials for better stuff came from boxes around the map rather than from kills or mission completion, some difficulty came from missions where the requirement was borderline insane without other players unless you managed to very quickly dispatch each titan)
