Lol, go stick to your cut and paste shooting games, this game not only was more of an emotional experience than a game, it was a beautiful piece of art work.



It will not be free on PS+, at least not any time soon. It's a 15 dollar game, i can scrounge up that much money from under my car seat.

While this game does have a lot of supporters, don't act like wandering around scenic places is entertaining to everyone. Many people don't have time to walk around for hours in a video game and would prefer to be in the action.

He said it looks dull and boring, which for the majority of gamers, would probably be true.

Gaming is supposed to be an experience as well not just "walking around scenic places" and while yes, it may not be for everyone, but "dull and boring" is not what this game is if you'd actually play it. Then I feel saddened about the majority of gamers, stopping themselves from enjoying a game they would potentially like.
I'm sure has hell that majority spends 8 hours of their day being 1337 at call of duty anyways, so what's two hours for a game like journey, that me personally have done over 30 of them, and every experience was new and entertaining, not to mention quite emotional at times when i found myself a good companion.

If you try to say otherwise, I'd tell you that you're better off sticking to the cut and paste games anyways.
Also - a 2 hour long 15$ game that is dull and boring doesn't win GOTY from IGN a s GameSpot, amongst many other websites.

See, you're just bring pretentious. You keep bringing up cut and paste games but not everyone plays those games. You have to understand that while many gamers have played cod, many have quit buying them.
Winning game of the year doesn't mean everyone will like it.

People play all games for the "experience," boasting this one to be something more is just simply your opinion. It's an indie art game that's pretty much a walking movie video game. Just because people aren't into that, doesn't mean their taste in games are any worse than yours.

Also, indie games do have the potential to be rated highly if they don't have graphical or gameplay defects. It's more so rated for what it is than what it I sent whereas other genres are more harsh in reviews and have more competition.

Those games are different. They're called "adventure"games, but generally feature point and click puzzles (like Myst, but not as deep) and heavy amounts of dialogue and decision making.
