I wouldn't even call these "current gen". These consoles were outdated straight from the release. Not enough power to run 1080p games, that's just pathetic and sad when PC build with same pricetag has always been able to do that when these machines have existed.
Besides fps, these consoles cannot pull anything graphically amazing. Why not just give up and make crappy looking 60fps games. I'm tired of this Ubisoft BS "60fps looks weird so we DECIDED to cap it to 15fps". Believers? Machine has not enough power to run your shitty code, nothing to do with decision there.
Also, there are no games. Every freaking game is a "remake" or "remaster" or "special version" or "revisited". Old games now with anti-aliasing. Nice, I wanted to play a game I bought a few years ago and have played already.
One thing more about this "next gen" is the hd space. 500gb. Really?

Really 500gb? You could get 2TB for almost the same price. 500gb is simply not enough. Few games and you have to start uninstalling your older ones. Also, there is no way to "full install" games on hd. Nice. I wanted to hear that disc scratching sound and wait loading times straight from the 90s'. If they would just put enough ram into their machines but no. Hd is nothing but a garbage can and swap drive. Sony is slowly killing the console gaming with this bs. Mark my words, anybody wanna take a bet that next console generation (if it ever is released) is the last to exist.

Oh well

Only reason Sony still sells (still, masses are already running away from consoles) are people like you. Oh, and btw. Only thing this playstation can do well is house heating. I haven't turned on the heating after I bought PS4.
