I wouldn't do 4k quite yet. Most HDMI's will only do 30 hz and may include 1 HDMI that does 4k at 60 hz.

Accessories like better HDMI cords can be bought though
It would only be a problem if that's what it took and none of those HDMI's were made available

It's the HDMI ports themselves sadly -_- . If I remember right most TV HDMI ports are 1.3 maybe 1.4 which can only do 24 hz at 4k. You'll be luck to get a TV with HDMI 2.0 which is 4k at 60 hz.

I probably look at things differently. I would be more likely to get a TV if they all had at least HDMI 2.0 ports for the sake of longevity.

I'm sure it will vary by brand. I know that depending on the model they should (hopefully) give you at least 1 HDMI 2.0 port. I looked at a few Vizio's before and the 4k model on display at Walmart. They mark their HDMI's very well and I know that 4k tv model included one 2.0 HDMI port.

They are starting to release their 2015 models which may include 2 ports this time. Although I haven't looked into Samsung, Panasonic etc. TV's for their ports.

I don't know when they will REALLY start to air 4k but I will need 2 ports
1 for my ps4 and 1 for home entertainment/satellite

Yeah having at least 2 would be nice. I would be surprised to start seeing 4k content in the near future since a few tv stations switched to "HD" not too long ago. The new display port iterations are more than capable of handling 4k but of course it's PC and a few mobile devices.

The higher end TV's that i've seen are starting to include 5 HDMI ports but at least 1 port with HDMI 2.0 or 2.0a assuming to save on cost both days. If I were to take a guess we won't see a new HDMI port iteration until 2016 or so.
