Read my first post lol. Since you're not knowing anything about ice tilt or momentum I really doubt you have made your homework with NHL...

wel lbakc in the day i palyed a 2k game that momentum made your guys faster and better for a short time
but momentum in this game is just player speed if you skate in a line with speed burst for a bit it gets faster then normal but u cant turn as good

now im trying to figure if your thinking this ice tilt or momentum is not what it is in this game but what it was back in the day and your just bitching because your bad

Haha. Yep. We're totally talking about different things. You understood I was talking about physical momentum. I mean the AI Momentum. For example, if you have AI momentum your shots will be goals more often, hits will hit harder etc. It's like automatic handicap that game differs and tries to "simulate" real life game momentum. Which is does really bad. Pretty much any forum (EA, Reddit, you name it) are full of ice tilt / momentum discussion how it's unrealistic and ruins the game. Like I said, shooting crossbars in consecutive shots is just ridiculous.

but that as 2k this is ea they dont have that i mean 2k had a bar u would add up until u reached 100%
eas momentum is purely skater based in the way they skate they carry momentum which is why they dont turn ass good at max speed

you hitting the crossbar is prob becasue your shooting with a player with high accuracy and aiming high aim lower


i agree they jack up the AI teams on harder difficulties its like playing a team of 99 ovr on steroids if thats what you mean but thats prob the only way to really make it harder

Ice tilt like I play otp all the time and c it
U start a game with 12 ppl u play they take lots of shots on ur goalie he has 50 saves u score to go up 1-0 there goalies a cry baby bitch so he quits the next 5 shots the other team takes are the most dumbest bs shots ever with all 5 going right through ur goalie thats wat ice tilt is and happens to me everyday

IMO take out the fucking quit option in the in game menu like if u gonna quit after 1 goal u should break nhl and go buy fifa for 0-0 game u know

maybe its that mode then?ive never noticed anything like that tbh

It's noticeable on other game modes too. Maybe you should pull up the difficulty? On rookie it won't matter what you do anyway.




That's bullshit. Pretty much tells you know nothing about momentum in EA NHL series.




These effects have pretty much nothing to do with stats. Unless they increase players puck control to 200 or so. Or bolt a puck hoover on their backs.





Thanks. This is how it works. It's also there in single player vs AI too. Computer decides that they score and every BS shot goes in. How about having 99 goalie and France scoring 3 goals in 3 shots in 7 minutes, also defending not just reckless attack. Ofc it won't help the AI to win, but the logic to keep games "even" is just ridiculous and ruining the game since skill doesn't matter anymore.

The skill gap between rookie and pro is foolish

Never played the game bit at a cursory glance this seems like an odd statement.

Yes you're most likely correct. But nobody I know plays this game at rookie anyway. I hardly know anyone even playing it at pro level.

I don't know if ice tilt exists on rookie but at least it's present at pro and superstar.
