You don't have to play all games in one month..... But you have more gameplay available to you than purchasing one physical game....

The cost of subscription vs the cost of one physical $20 game is substantially better in hours of gameplay.

You can expect them to grow the library extensively. I looked at the list, and there sure were a large handful of games that I would play.

You have to play more then you would have without now. As of now for me, it would cost me the same to just buy the games and I get to keep them.

They are on the right track but need like a 6 month option or a year. Then maybe.

You don't have to play more. It's not like you're locked into the service for life.

It's a much better service than blockbuster was as far as price and playtime. Obviously the game selection is different.

Of course you do. Otherwise you are just paying more for less.

Why would I pay more for a rental service versus paying less and owning the game?

Hypothetically I have only have time to play 2 games in 3 months. They cost $15 each.
What makes more sense $30 and owning the disc or $45 for a rental service?

If you buy a physical $20 game and complete the gameplay in two weeks, you're left with either purchasing a new game, playing s gane you already own or not playing at all.

Ps now offers more available gameplay per dollar.

Your hypothetical situation is exactly why I won't be getting it, I don't have time to play much.

Like I said for me that doesn't make sense because I do t have the time.
Thus..... I would need to play more in order for it to be worth it.

Yeah agreed. But maybe if they had a 1 year sub and it was like $120 maybe.

Bottom line is, it's a better value than blockbuster was.

You get more available gameplay time for your dollar and you are not locked into playing one game at a time.

Sony based this off of people who have time to play games, not people who don't have time, which in he grand scheme of it, makes sense (just not for you and I).

Around $0.50 to around $0.66 per day for rented gameplay. Subscribe, play the games you want, unsubscribe, and wait for more games of interest to be released.

I'm sure they will restructure the pricing options down the road.

Based on the games available, the connection issues I experienced during the beta, the price and other factors is why I won't be subscribing. I have the time to do so but I don't believe it's a good value overall.
