I think it looks much more complex than borderlands, although there are certainly similarities you can always compare one game to another.

Also very little info has been released regarding competetive multiplayer which is what I typically play, the fact that im excited about this game for the campaign as well has me very impressed.

To me it seems like a halo/diablo combination open world style game.. Im hoping they can institute some form of currency in the game because it seems like there will be trading of gear possible.

Also its rumored that playstation will get beta access 4 days earlier than xbox, so we always have that to smile about!
