the knife i have was my dads and he got it when he was like 20 and im now 25 so... idk about that well have to wait like 40 years if you still got yours
and benchmark if its the company im thinking of makes cheap tools that dont last for shit they might make good knives but its hard to believe if they make shitty tools and stuff

I've had one of my benchmades for maybe over 7 years but it's been through everyday of Work, hunting trips, camping trips, and all kinds of hell and it's still in excellent condition
Don't knock a knife brand till you've actually put it through hell

wel lim pretty sure the benches we used to use for work were benchmate n they sucked major ass thats y we got new ones
pretty sure ibought a benchmark knife to cut the drywall with and it broke after like 2 weekis thats the first time ive had a knife brake on me cutting drywall ... it was actually knid of pathetic
thers a reason im bashing benchmate im not just talking shti cuz i dont like the name lol and ive put this knife through hell and my dad has too this knife has been used tons of times for tons of shit i dont leave the house without becasue its handy to have

and that knife prob is legal becasue its got a small blade i think the only thing that makes knives in canada illegal is the blade length but its gotta be like 5+ innches or something

like i said if its not the company im thinking of i take back what said but if it is ... my opinion stands lol

by all means enjoy the knife tho ... i still think its ugly as shit and really dislike the red switch lol should stick to buying guns
