What patch?

Firmware 1.7 is supposedly out next week

Yeah, April 30th is what I've read. But it seemed you were changing your psn name with this patch. Is that not what you meant by "And if this soon to be rumored patch indeed comes out it will be the first 5 year old mistake to go".

It was recently rumored that this was finally the patch to allow us to change names. It was on neogaf a couple weeks ago. They haven't official announced all details of the patch by their own admission last week. I'm being skeptical and hoping that the neogaf "leak" is correct and I'll be purchasing a psn card next Tuesday.

Oh ok. I get it now. That'd be pretty cool actually and an easy money maker for Sony. Any word on the rumored pricing of the rumor?

I think it's 10 on Xbox. Don't see why it would be higher on PlayStation.

Nah anything on that front is more than pure speculation. I also would pay up to $20 but don't see why it wouldn't be 5-10 or at least free the first time
