I've heard good things about samsungs as well

I plan on having it for a living room when I move next month, keeping my lcd Samsung 32" for my bedroom

60 is too big, 32 is too small. So 42-50" was my ideal and was eyeballing the LED ones. Any difference between the ghz? 60 vs 120 vs 240? I don't want a smart tv really I have a computer I use constantly and the ps4 is pretty slick for a piece of machinery. I like the tricks that guy said in this post first page about his sony and obv sony is the top shelf for tvs just wanted more feedback before I invest in a 500-600$+ tv

A Sony TV will support the PS4 the best, I have a 47" Sony LED TV and it works great with the PS3/PS4.

I don't know if it's because of the TV or the PS4 but I don't even have to turn my TV on, I turn my ps4 on, and it turns the TV on and then automatically switches to the HDMI slot the ps4 is in. When I shut the PS4 off, it automatically goes back to the HDMI slot it was on and leaves it there so I can just watch tv right after without having to do anything.

Could be just the normal thing the PS4 does.. but I don't have any other TV but Sony's in my house, so can't test it lol

It's a PS4 setting if you have a HDMI-CEC compatible TV, my TV it will not do that, but the TV in the living room of my house will do that and it's LG.

My smart tv doesn't do that. It's less than 2 years old.

Mine did it automatically, so I don't think there is any setting you must change.

There is a setting you have to enable, http://manuals.playstation.net/document/en/ps4/settings/devicelink.html . It works if you have HDMI-CEC I don't think you need that Bravia sync
