I have to use the star upgrade thread in the donor forums
and as far as for people who have the same stars as me that are in the top 50
that could be because maybe they don't use the highest stars they've earned
like lets say they have green stars unlocked but like to use the pink? idk
its all based on how much money you have donated to the site
