what do people see in the telltale games that made it goty worthy

i find it boring

maybe the comic book style type animation?
mediocre story line?
I liked it on ps3 but after playing it a year later on the vita, I didn't appreciate the story as much as I once did

when i palyed it would draw me in n odoubt id get into the game
after doing like an episdoe or 2 id turn it off tho cuz id be bored lol
i think its the options they give you it makes people feel its more cutomized to them and has more replayability

Just finished it. It's ok not great. Season 1 episode 1 was much better IMO
