The new shotty isn't too bad, I was killin' people with it all day yesterday while I was trying to go for AT Rocket kills....throw frag rounds on and it's just as devastating as the USAS, (Change it up a bit and that gun is really UASS).
Has slightly slower fire rate though, also hate the iron sight for it.. & with buckshot, I was running into a LOT of people who'd turn and kill me after the first shot hit them from 5 feet away in the back...center mass...before the second shot could go off...somehow...imo it's modders but it could just be lag, I seem to run into that crap on every fps I play, i'm about done with them for good.
Until they get it right, anyways, NOBODY, I don't care if it's fucking Rambo, NOBODY survives a point blank blast to the spine from a shotgun, idc what ammo is used.
Even more fucked up, several times now going for rocket kills, I round a corner the same time as an enemy and pop a rocket off on them.. It detonates on them, kills me from 100%, yet they survive.
It's not range either, i've seen so many people survive dead-on rocket hits it's not even funny, regardless of range, I even had one prick at about 30 feet survive 5, FIVE rockets, I don't give a shit if he's standing on 3 med kits, nobody survives 5 fucking rockets going off on their feet and the wall they're pressed up against with no delay between the shots aside from reload time...
Fun as hell getting kills in that DPV though, kick the view out to 3rd person & it's easy roadkills, handles like a dream too, can turn hella sharp at high speeds with proper sliding.
BTW the only map i've found with that BTR-90 needed to unlock the new shotty is Gulf of Oman, in conquest, keep joining until there's 4-5 flags then it'l spawn at the construction site.
If it's the crappy 3 flag map, it spawns a M1 instead....I hate the randomness of the maps in conquest..
