7$ or so a month is quite a good deal....i've never used the psn features aside from some online play...and from what i've heard the ps3 is lacking a few really good things that a lot of people love(cross game chat, deal of the week...which actually saves a hell of a lot of microsoft points for people that make lots of purchases).

really if you think about it...maybe a half hour to 45 minutes of work(depending on your job) a month....is a really good deal for how many hours you will put into playing it. or if you want it to seem even cheaper...take a single dollar out of every paycheck you get every week(or if you get payed biweekly then 2 dollars from each paycheck) you have all you need....because you dont have to buy the xbox live directly from microsoft for almost twice what you can pay from other retailers

Yeah, $50 or $60 a year isn't a bad deal and most people wouldn't think twice about it being expensive at all. It's just that you HAVE to pay more money to gain access to something on a game that you already paid for, which is a load of shit. It's like buying a car and not being able to use the air conditioning because you're not paying the monthly fee to use it. Sure, the car still runs but it's features are limited. Plus, paying to play your games online puts you at the complete mercy of Microsoft as to whether you can play your games or not. Microsoft could just keep raising the price every year, as I assume they will, and people will be FORCED to pay that price because they already invested all that time and money into their Xbox and it would seem silly to abandon it just because of "a little more money."
