It's pretty stupid tbh, why you're allowed to buy games on Steam, but you can't buy digital games for PSN or Xbox is :bonk: . However, you can purchase these items if you get access to the donor forum. There you can do real life trades, but that process is a giant pain in the ass anyways. Takes months to get anything done and then they'll cancel the trade half the time without ever giving you a reason why.
The inconsistency is all that bothers me, just make all digital trades allowed and moved the fuck on... Shouldn't be that difficult.
It's not that stupid actually..... very hard to scam on steam since you are actually trading the "physical" digital copy of the game with trade history showing that. With trading digital games via PSN xbox etc its all via code and there is no way to prove a code didnt exist and you never claimed the reward or that the code did exist and the person is putting out a false claim. Would make it hell for any mod to sort out the legit scams vs fake claims. Whereas steam trades are very simple.
