im alredy buying god of war but im tempted by re7

i only played re4 n re5

loved the 4 on gamecube n the 5 was fun

i also loved alien isolation which is a first person horror similar to re7 i think

do u think i should buy it too?will i like it?

7 was amazing. A lot of people complained since it doesn't have fuck-all to do with the RE lore, but I honestly don't think it matters. It was a good RE game, it played like RE, it was creepy as fuck on a first play-through and the boss fights, weapon variety, collectibles and everything else from start to finish were phenomenal. I should probably check out and play the expansions if there are any out there now.

If you like Resident Evil then why not. Not sure how much cheaper it can get lol.

amazing game, just not a resident evil game. regardless, I highly recommend. it has an incredible first play through, good replayability, and expansions are gg as fuck

This is exactly what I'm talking about... why isn't it an RE game? Just because it doesn't expand on the lore? Like I already said, it plays like an RE game, the combat feels like an RE game, the creepy factor is the best it's been since RE1 or 2, this shit was WAY creepier than any of the recent games and it's got all the same crazy secrets/extras that make RE games so special. Whether or not you're upset with it not following the same fucking story we've heard over and over for 20 years now doesn't mean it's not an RE game lol. If it looks like an RE game, if it feels like an RE game and if it's called an RE game... Guess what, it's an RE game.

Seconded. But i do wish there was abit more lore to tie in the game to other characters in the series. Though it does a great job expanding on umbrella as a company and what it is they've been doing
