I was reading you can use up to a 5tb external hard drive for a ps4? Would this mean i can download and install games on it and still be able to play them? Such as ESO which is almost a 100gb game.. Along with Mafia 3, FO4, Skyrim, etc. I'm just tired of having to delete/remove things just to update my games.. Mainly because every time ESO is updated its 20gb+ update. I have a 500gb PS4 and really don't wanna upgrade the HDD or buy a new system. Can anyone provide me with information or anyone that has some experience which using one on a ps4?

So this is coming with the new update so I'm not 100% sure the logistics.

When the new update is available, you can hook up to an 8TB external hard drive, you can install games and applications on it but all save data will be stored on the consoles internal hard drive

i ordered a 2tb hdd in prep for this

while picking up horizon one of the other customers at gamestop said something about a certain hard drive to get for the speed?? like fire drive or some shit like that 110$ i think 2b? he said. wondering if anyone knows what to get?

loading a bunch of shit onto my new drive now same one u guys got =D however im wondering if i can load this up with movies n crap from the computer or if it only works on the ps?? it made me format it before using it on the ps so not sure if it will work or not
