Iam about to buy my first concole ever after ~20 years of pc.

i want a gaming console , only to play on. no multimedia shit.
i dont have a 2k TV , so no need to wait for ps4 neo.

so what do u guys think ...

ps4 has better performance then xb1
so unless u really feel xb is going to have a superior exclusive line up the ps4 is likely the way to go

Yeah if you want a console whose biggest exclusive in the past few months was no mans flop then go PlayStation. If you want fps games Xbox is the way to go with games like halo 5 that offer a much better fps experience then anything PlayStation has to offer.

In all seriousness just look at what exclusives both consoles offer and choose that way. Also check the controllers out and see what one you want. Xbox offers an elite controller that is also better then any controller PlayStation offers if you want paddles and the option to change the buttons to whatever you want.

Here is the answer that matters: buy either one and you'll be happy

lets not act like we dont have uncharted 4 infamous bloodborne killzone the last of us etc etc
and the line up of exclusives comng out is pretty exciting

fps i guess halo prob shits on ps4 games we dont have much other then killzone which had terrible mp but campaign was good
but really the reason we dont have more killzone games coming is becasue they went a new direction with horizon zero dawn which looks awesome

Ps4 has a weaker wifi card. Gears is much better for competitive 3rd person then uncharted and last of us. They offer great campaigns but not the greatest pvp. Battlefield 1 runs smoother on my Xbox one then my ps4 so that extra performance really bit doing much for that game. The only exclusive PlayStation offers that I'm excited for is Horizon Zero Dawn. The rest look mediocre. PlayStation let a half finished game release and offered full refunds weeks after the release regardless of playtime. Xbox servers are also better and are down way less then PlayStations. Didn't PlayStation have an issue with the network getting hacked or whatever awhile ago and peoples credit card info was in jeopardy?

Competitive shooters - Xbox one
Competitive fighters - PlayStation

Both are great consoles but Xbox offers more customization options.

sInce u r mainly pc i'd say ps4 becuz some of (or maybe all) xbox1 games can be bought on pc so with pc n ps4 im pretty sure u can play all exclusives

It really comes down to what ur friends play or exclusive game u would rather play

Gears/Halo/killer instint or uncharted/street fighter v/bloodbourn
