I played some Tekken game back on the PS 1 many years ago. Liked Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat better back then. But now I'm open to any fighter really.

Tekken tag 2 is currently the most popular
Before tekken 7 comes out
Fan base is not as big as mkx or street fighter
The game is much more difficult than either of those

Tbh I'm just burnt out on street fighter and mk. Want a change. What about tekken 3?

I'm not interested in online at all, only couch 2 player versus. Do 3 and tag tournament 2 both have offline versus?

every fighter has offline versus lol they all are just console ports of the arcade versions

tekken 6 is probably your best bet if you dont like tekken tag (personally i hate tag style tekken) until tekken 7 comes out
