so.. a friend gave me his ps3 cause he got a ps4, and was thinking of playing destiny, but i was wondering do i need like a cd key to play?

like activate it on psn account? or can i just like buy the game preowned from gamestop and play?

im not very familiar with console side of stuff...... i havent rly played a console since ps2....im a pc person

Either buy a physical copy of the game or digital. Doesn't matter if physical copy is pre-owned.

so he finally mailed it, but the blue ray drive doesnt work..

its the old school fat ps3 and i was wondering if i can just hop on ebay and get a replacement? or do i need a specific model for the ps?

just buy games from the ps store digitally
although hd prob an 80 gig or smaller if fat so u cant have many games on it at once

utter waste of life

I have the slim ps3
I too burnt my blu Ray laser out a few years ago
It was like a 60$ fix (at the time)
But it was worth it to me
You might be better off just getting a slim version though
Or just buy all digital games

i still only have a ps2
