Is the rng still broken? Was thinking about picking this up but that would.make the game unplayable for me

Yeah its pretty common problrm. Battles aren't random and the same items keep dropping etc etc just wondering if they released a patch yet

No, it's the same game that they use to suck your money off your wallet. They have no intentions making any changes to a decade old game.

i am about to plat the game and didnt realize the rng was "broken" until somebody pointed it out to me. its broken in the sense that it does not reseed itself as often as it should leaving the encounters to be somewhat predictable. it is a problem only for when you are trying to capture all of the monsters for the arena. even then you can reseed the rng by just casting cure in battle, or leaving the area and returning. was not hard to overcome and mostly i didnt notice. the only other thing that is wrong is that music restarts after every battle which again i didnt notice until it was pointed out to me.

Your post makes no sense. The rng is a problem with the current ps4 platform only.

Thanks for the input I also read that items were stuck spawning the same things over and over again

if it does it doesnt affect gameplay. towards endgame you can farm any item you want very quickly using the monster arena. theres only like 4 items in the game that you can even miss which are primers for the al bhed language. any other item in the game you want you can just fight a monster in the arena and bribe them. right now im farming dark yojimbo for some armors for the B squad and ive found 4 item drops that are useful so far.
