you do realize every time psn has been ddosed the exact same group has ddossed xbl right after?
that xmas hack thing with lizard squad both were down by them and anon had to save both

dont get me wrong both should be able to fend this shit off but xbl isnt doing any better vs attacks
and if microsoft was to not get hacked while psn does that should raise some red flags as to whos prob doing it
idk if this is mait it doesnt seem to be so its likely a ddos the whoel being connected but not to games.. thats what happened before

Microsoft's backend architecture is much stronger.

yet they still got ddosed and taken down by lizard squad just like the psn..didnt seem to help much did it?

You can't prevent ddos, you simply have to fend it off by ramping up your server, since Microsoft's backend is so much stronger they were able to turn around much faster. So yes, it did help.
