I've been out of the technology game for a while
Especially on TV's
My best TV in the house is a Samsung 55" LED 1080p 240hz HDTV

Living Room - Samsung 55" LED 240hz
My Room - Panasonic 55" Plasma
Game Room - LG 60" LCD (inactive)

I have $2,500 to spend on a new TV
I want the best picture, best color, best frame/refresh rate for movies AND games, at least 3 hdmi ports, at least 1 usb port, at least 55" and good reliability
I do not care for the fancy shmancy smart tv features

I will move this TV into the living room, move the living room tv to my room, and move the tv in my room to install into the game/pool room.
Yes I am down with 4k and yes I am down with curved
Recommend me the best for my budget

TY

No I intended to get a 4k at that time and later posted that I came home with the Panasonic plasma
The plasma is smoother and the picture is much um sharper? but the colors/contrast on the LED Samsung are way more vibrant
Either that or I need to get the Panasonic tuned professionally
I'm now gonna jump on the 4k hype train

Chance to have LCD, Plasma, LED, and 4k in the same house
Sure why not
Mainly looking for options

BTW I believe the 600hz is on a different scale than the 120hz-240hz led's
someone educate me on this

Edit: Budget adjusted to $2000

It's a brand new model for 2015

The js in the model number is 2015 and it's also one of the highest models numbers. The lower the model number, the less options and addictions with picture, sound, anything.

My parents just bought the 2014 hu8700 curved in 55" which is $2000 on Amazon.

Compare year models and decide from there, I don't know exactly what the 2015 models have to offer yet.
