Hello there i dont know whats wrong with me but i seem to not be able to have a playstation for more than 1-2 years before it break this is my third ps3 in 5 years that wont read games and i wonder wtf im doing wrong lol.
Im only using it for games and netflix and i always close the games before i turn off my system, i do smoke alot inside so im thinking it might be the smoke that mess it up? even tho my friends who smoke dont have that problem

Also im wondering if any1 else had this problem and know a way to fix it?

this happened to a buddy of mine with his. on 3 ps3's. he had to replace each one.

Damn thats what i done so far but cant afford to replace it right now so im hoing some1 might had this problem but knew how to fix it maybe i need to take it apart and clean something inside i rly hope its possible without replacing it as i cant afford a new ps :/

I had a problem 2 years ago with my ps3
My downloaded games worked fine but my disc games wouldn't play anymore. Turns out I had to replace my bluray drive

Is it possible to replace the bluray drive instead of the entire playstation and is it much cheaper?

Well first you want to figure out if the bluray drive is the issue
Secondly, replacing my bluray drive cost me about 80$ but that's because I took it to a shop and had someone do it for me, it might cost you less if you have the materials and do it yourself
