hey guys,

after playing with my crappy old logitech headset for years, I decided that it's time to step up and get a new headset for my ps4.
Unfortunately, the internet is flooded by millions of recomendations for all kinds of headsets. I think people who got bad luck with their products or people who hype their products tend to criticize them more frequently than people who are simply satisfied with their products, which often creat a false image of that product. That's why I don't want to make my decision solely based on product reviews of some sites.

So in order to get a decent headset I thought I might ask the community here for their experiences with their headsets:

Which headset do you use?
Do you use it only for ps4 gaming or pc gaming too?
Does your headset need to be connected to the controller for ingame chat?
How comfortable is your headset ? (small or big ears?)
Are there any flaws or would you recommed it?

Its Comfortable adjustable fitting good for everyone. Individual volume controls on each ear phone. I think adjustable bass as well but id have to check. (Don't use my headset too often, mostly play single player games) has a hidden mic, mute button, sleek exterior.
Its Compatible with everything. Ps3. PS vita. Ps4. Laptop/desktop
I guess you go wired but I just use the USB

Which headset do you use? Sony Elite Pulse (150$ Normal price, but can easily find one for 100$)

Does your headset need to be connected to the controller for ingame chat? No, the headset is USB wireless, no need to setup anything, just insert the usb in your system and put your headset on! And it comes with wire, so when the headset need to be on charge and dont want to charge it, you can simply connect it to your ps4 controller.

How comfortable is your headset ? (small or big ears?). Very comfortable, but ive seen better. After few hours of use (like 5+), you will want a break.
Are there any flaws or would you recommed it? The only thing that i dont like about it, is that the mic is on the left side of the headset (hidden mic). So its not going in front of your mouth. Which make it a bit more quiet. Alot will say they dont have this issue, but im not the only one who has it. So sometimes they dont hear me as good as the others, with different headset.

Overall, i recommend it

The new ps4 headset bc it was on sale for $65.

I bought the sony playstation gold headphones. I love that they are wireless and the sound comes in great, and the mic works fine too.

Very comfortable and adjustable and they fold up nicely too

Bluetooth earpiece
not fond of the feeling of it clamping on my head and the weight on my head
I also use my speakers for volume so the only thing I use the headset for is the Mic

the sony elite pulse looks pretty good and is my favourite so far
how long does the battery last for you guys? and can you use them while charging them?
heard some rumours that there are some issues when you're using them while charging

they last for a while, im not exactly sure how long but I haven't had any issues while using them as they are charging
