As I progress I'm enjoying it less and less

I'm barely on the 3rd or 4th mission for the main campaign and it seems like I've already unlocked/purchased 90% of the stuff available(weapons/items/cars)
And it doesnt look like there's gonna be anything more

Side missions are becoming not only repetitive but also tedious. The payout isn't alot, they're not fun(except the gang hideouts), and they are sometimes a bitch to do.

Hacking people's phones for ATM money is faster than anything else, but I dont understand why he can't just hack the ATM itself?

Depending on the area you're currently in, the ctos scan after the police chase can be fucking ridiculous to dodge

If you die or fail the side missions, the game restarts you at the starting point of the mission without the car you used to get there making you run and look for another car catching attention for police in the process
There seems to be alot less things you can hack than I had expected. I can probably only name 8 at most in the whole entire game world which isnt saying much

You can say that you can't compare this to GTA because it implements a new type of gameplay.(like I said)
Yes that's true to a certain point, but in the end it's a modern world sandbox game. The ctos/hacking gameplay does not make up for the lack of content.
Even though GTA did not have the hacking system it still had TONs of things to do. Way more than Watch Dogs


The game had it's good/fun moments but less than halfway through it dies down

I did not get to multiplayer yet since the internet is down

In a way I am glad I cancelled my pre-order last week. I watched live streams of it and the driving mechanics look horrible like the old NFS.

driving is ok
just have to get used to it and itll be manageable
i always ride the bikes if anything

if someone has progressed further than i have and there's something more than what i stated
then please point it out

I know I can't say anything since I haven't played it. From what i've watched and from what others said (That actually did play it) it is a great idea, but wasn't executed that well.

$30 game at best

I wouldn't disagree with this. With 6 month delay I would hate to see what it would have been like if it was released in 2013.

I probably will wait for it to be 30 or cheaper.

you can hack waaaaay more than 8 things lets see:

traffic lights, bridges, barriers, barricades, phones, explosives, cameras, radios, signs, screens, forklifts, car alarms, cranes, construction hooks

these are just things i can name off of the top of my head that i have hacked playing the first few missions. imo the game is really a lot more fun if you play it stealth mode.

but i have to admit i am disappointed with the lack of car customization and gun modification. ive only played about 4 hours and i like it a lot, its not revolutionary like you suggest but for 60 bucks there is so much to do.

the multiplayer is pretty good too. randomly getting invaded and hacked is pretty cool to try and defuse without alerting cops. i have not invaded anybody yet though. also i think the multiplayer rankings and unlocks are pretty good.

have to agree with this multiplayer is fun i have yet to try the free roam but the campaign itself is really fun i also love all of the minigames there are and invading the houses and such the cTOS mobile app is also very very fun you can challenge friends to races around the city while you are on your phone/tablet trying to destroy them before they finish
