There is a PS3 selling @ my local walmart...

@ my local store its listed as $179.99
I work there, so I get 10% (18$) = $162.00 + 5.5$ tax... still only like 170$

The Question is, Since its the year 2014... Is a ps3 still worth getting? I'm more of a pc person who plays minecraft, wow, league,skypes...
I really didn't see that many games for the PS3 @ the store, so i was thinking of not getting it.

What do you guys think? should I skip it?

Was thinking of buying an Nvidia Shield instead, or saving up for a PS4... But the PS4 is horrible, there is like a hand full of games being sold @ our store, and its all sport stuff...
I could buy via online, but still i haven't seen much of a selection.

SO then i was thinking the Xbox One... but my store srsly just got their first xbox1 yesterday... they so late... and they only have Titanfall.... lol.... omg
So Ps3 or Nvidia shield?
Otherwise save up and get ps4 or xbox1?

I was thinking about getting the 3'ed version for xbox360.....
xbox 360 still any good? would that work for Xbox1 aswell?
I know that Ps1 and 2 games work on the PS3 .. does anyone know if they made that game for sony playstation?

There are lots of games to play but the 12gb is shit.
PS2 games don't work on PS3.

Yeah. If you are already saving more to get a HD worth while then you might as well save a little more and adopt the next gen. There aren't many games yet but E3 is less then a month away. You will surly see something announce that peaks your interest.

personally I'd say a PS3 is still worth it, I've had mine for like 2 years and there are still plenty of games I plan to get for it
and just saying wal-mart has never had a great selection of games so don't ever use it as a reference for the kinds of games you can find

Ps3 is defifnitly worth it.

1. You wont have to pay for online (but i recommend it because with playstation plus, they give you tons of free games every month)
2. Good netflix/youtube machine
3. They will still make games for ps3 for years

Ps4 is good, but not worth it atm, since not many games. Unless you have extra money and dont know what to spend it on

PlayStation 3 bundle costs 270.
PlayStation 3 costs 400.

That's only a 130 dollar difference for a current gen consoles, compared to a 10 year old last gen consoles, that will get every single game you want to play ported over to it in an HD remake.

Only reason I would say a PS3 is worth it in the current market is if you can get it on the cheap and I mean cheap.
