what will happen if i turn off my ps3 while game is installing?

installing a game is taking longer then it did dling it

i need to go and it 85% installing (do not turn off the ps3)

i think there is something you can do to tell it to shut off when it finishes, but idk, i think i only brought it up once by mistake

isnt there the checkbox to turn off after installing?
e: just leave it on shit ive left my ps3 on overnight so many times... its got an auto shutdown unless u took it off

I turned off my ps3 like 100 times by unplugging my console, and never had a problem. Still working fine

while its downloading/installing in the background, go to turn off your ps3 manually and it'll ask you if you want to turn the system off now or to automatically turn off after the background download is complete

oh yeah iforgot it does that when u go to shut it down

what did they take that out for the slim too?
on the back right above the plug my ps3 has a pwoerswitch like a pc
