So I browsed the official 2moons forums for awhile, and even their own GM's were saying it was a bad time to get into the game, since so many people with +7 - +9 items accounts are being hacked.

Now I was just wondering, would it really be a bad time to get into the game because it probably takes such a long time to get that kind of gear, that by the time I would have +7 - +9's, the account hacking issue should be resolved, no?


iso some input on this, if it really isn't worth getting into the game right now, I might just stick to playing a private server till things on the official servers settle down.

At first, distinguish between Moderator and GM. Moderators know as much about what's going on in the game as we do, they know exactly nothing. It's their own opinion, unfortunately people still think they are GMs and know something we don't know.

Just start the game, you won't be hacked with a low level account.

At the moment, I think the hacker has an old database backup, so new accounts or accounts with pw changed are safe. In the past 3 days, 2 guildies have been hacked, both didn't change their PW and so far, no one said he changed his PW and got hacked.

It was actual GM's on their forums saying the game was not safe to play right now.

i just think its people downloading that stupid lvl1-140 in 3 days crap
because it cant be an datebase because i know people that have only just recently made there accounts and been hacked (not rl freinds)
and they were only lvl 82 with +4 gears

i recommened just to play it safe dont download anything
make an alt forum account to post with
dont sell your account to low rep/post people (like me :P)
and change your password every now and then
