wanting to know a class that is easy/cheap and can grant me a good first play experience and will be able to farm at higher levels or w/e so i can get other toons

I think summoners are quite fun now with the new skills. You get pretty cool skills at a quite low lvl so u can start to aoe at a early stage. They can lure 3 extra mobs (You can lure 3 Mobs, but as a summoner u got a pet which allows u to lure 3 extra mobs) -> faster solokillingspeed. They do decent in PvP, are great Killstealers for deadfront (if the players knows how to handle his char) and they are perfect Char for solofarming which is a maint part of the endgame due to their pet. the killspeed is quite good aswell, you can consider them as a damagedealer eventhough mages and hunters do way more dmg in a short time.

I don't recommend Bagis coz they are crap in PvE, Mages coz they are quite boring until they get their lvl 92/98 skills (and even then, they arent really fun coz ur rly great dmg comes with lvl 120-130++), AKs coz they are the most expensive char ingame (they usually need 3 wepaons + 1 shield, dependend on the build ofc) and Hunters coz it needs skill to solo with them in my opinion. segnales are boring, i don't like to play healers at all, still it's ur choice.


Btw, there is no real farming for stuff for ur new chars. Chose the char u want to stick to, lvling takes a lot of time so u dont want to do the whole procedure again it's not like d2.

or wait a few weeks and try out the new char Aloken. But i say segs are gonna kick ass with their new skillz

ty for your input. i thought about summoner when i was looking at the classes because i liked the idea of the pet taking my aggro. and i like PvE over PvP

trying out aloken would be a good idea too, got to agree u will find some more pts too coz more players will start a new char when aloken comes out @ march/april so it's not that boring.

i dont rly like the new seg skills. dunno if dispel (the one that removes the opponent's buffs) and cursecry will come. the new lvl 131 aoe which occopus is using would pwn if it makes u unable to cast spells (so an exact copy occopus' skill)

summoners and mages are some decent starting chars....

mages are almost always welcome in aoe parties and they deal some massive dmg...just sucks grinding till you get their decent skills

segnale.. u have to work harder at the start and call in some mates to help u lvl but if u keep all stat and skill resets and use a lvl 12 whip and pump all attribues into life u should have plenty to keep u alive in barron/earl d/f u get cursefield at about lvl 58 or so and thats the only attack u need for pvm untill about lvl 105 then u can reset stats to a 78 whip build. segs can get partys easly. they also handy for getting vouchers later in the game. many times iv sat outfront 90dp waiting on segs and they usally get partys stright away.
