Which server is better, just starting out and want to know the opinions of those that have already been playing.

abbadon for playing
trieste for buying

large abbadon community here.

abbaadon = sellers market

trieste = buyers market

also abbadon is 1 hour ahead of time so if u were in europe u sould use trieste because the 1 hour diff is handy also what the others said

What people are trying to say is..if you want to level a little quicker (by being able to buy mils easierand cheaper) and have (In my opinion) a worse experience go trieste..

If you want to be worth more money in the long run in case you want to quit, and have a generally more friendly and helpful experience but level a little slower in the begining (or more expensive if you can find people selling you could level the same speed but it would cost you 15 fg more on a million) play on abbadon.

I did a level job on trieste..and have a few characters on trieste and to be honest..I don't like trieste people tend to pk people for no reason and do other gay shit..just because they have nothing better to do.

and that doesn't happen nearly as often on abbadon from what I can tell.

Plus people are generally slightly lower level on abbadon than they are on trieste because abbadon has been out a shorter period of time so its more likely you'll find more people around your level when you play on abbadon.

Edit: and also if you want I'm sure I can get my friend to invite you into the guild me and him are in on abbadon they are generally pretty active and nice people for the most part especially the leaders. (he is a sub-leader himself)

Also these are only my opinions based on how things worked when I played trieste for a little..I just didn't find it enjoyable (at least not at a low level)

Hmm abbadon is a week younger, and all that its full of shit imo.. why would it be so different on one server then the other u make it look like its 2 different games, both servers are free pk so if u dont like to get pked or to pk u need to start another game, cuz this game its all pk based.

And there is a lot of noobs going around trieste too, not because its 1 week older that means there is only high lvls there...

It's not two different games..but when I played on it..the people on trieste honestly...well I can't say the people werent as nice as abbadon some of them may of even been more nice then people i've met on abbadon but there is a larger quantity of assholes on trieste...in heiharp most specifically.

and its easy for someone with 500+ Mil and Acclaim coin advantages to defend himself not so much for new people who arent that lucky >_<;;

Edit: When I play on abbadon as a new character (and I've got like...six or eight of them on abbadon) I always see more noobs when im lvl 1 than I see on trieste Idk why but that is my personal experience..and like I said that was all just based on MY experiences.

and as far as jsp goes..i'd say there is more abbadon players than trieste players but i'd say its not by a large majority.

Not so easy indeed cuz ive been playing this game since it released. Heiharp its a free pk zone and thats where ppl meet to shake some stress off, like non pk guilds are allowed to pk there, just because its an easy access place, if u die u can come right back without having to port anywhere not only high lvls go there ive seen a bunch of lowbies killing ppl there they even make parties to take down higher lvls, its all about fun.

I don't know how it is on abbadon, but on trieste kalibus its the server where pk guilds go hunting their kos so if u dont like to be pked stay away from it there is plenty of servers for everyone so, just find a nice lvling spot and if u see trouble just relog it takes 10 secs, and avoids u the hassle of walking back to ur spot.

Just gotta learn the basics before u start judging.

Problem with that was I got pked 6 times in less than 4-5 levels on OREAD one of the generic servers..and then I didn't get pked during 2x attempts where random pkers decided Hey! that level 60 is helping the lvl 25's level lets pk the entire party! because I ran.

This wasn't about fun it was blatent jumping of 60+'s onto a 20 something mage..I'm not judging out of a lack of experience..but I digress anyway I said what I had to say based on my experiences evedently yours were much more pleasent and thats fine and dandy I hope his are too if he goes trieste but mine werent ;(

Well in that case u have bad luck?. And just an advice if u don't like to be or get pked i would quit asap. It gets pretty bad as u lvl up, to get to higher lvl maps its a hella walk so if u get killed u got to run ur ass off wich that isn't fun at all i must admit it, but its part of the game, so just play the game and don't take it too seriously.

And as a tip if some one flags on u and u don't attack they will leave u alone most of the time. If u attack back they are going to kill u, unless it is a niete person then if he kills u its either 1 of 3 things

1-Hes bored out of his mind
2-Hes collecting ip to go to jail and maybe make it to the next df
3-Ur on his kos list.
