Dark Circle? Max it or Ignore it?

Pros

Makes all attacks curse based and gives +7% Damage Increase
Means that all hits on both Crow/Blood Hit will be Curse instead of partial physical
Means that curse mastery will increase those skills (along with any other attack for that matter) damage
Means that +% Curse gems in weapons will affect all attacks rather than just curse attacks for 5% bonus per Gem up to 15% Damage increase.

Cons
Mana drain of -20/sec for 55 seconds while its in effect..
Have to get both single attack/def buffs (1 point) in order to get it..They are pre-requesites.
Anything that is curse resistant will cause your damage to suck against till the effect wears off.
Doesn't max out till lvl 72

But take this into account. I'm a half damage dealer type..so In order to do that I need current level weapons..which requires a LARGE investment into spirit at the higher levels..up to 200-250+ Points for the best weapons. So I should have a fairly large amount of mana (compared to other classes) When it comes to the mana drain of Dark Circle ..plus there are always Potions.

And i'll be wearing a black dragon ring which gives a +200 mana bonus itself.


Image the amount of +Damage you can achieve by using dark circle.

Here is an estimate just based on the prelim data i've collected.

+7% From the skill itself +3 Curse gems = atleast 15% + 5% From Curse Mastery.

Total of 27% Increase At least.

Okay now Highest damaging skill is Evil crow @ 11,410 Based on a skill simulator..So I assume thats without the Just over 25% Bonus

Since all damage will be curse oriented instead of just the First and last attack of Crow its all curse damage and affected by the 1/4 Increase of roughly 3k Increase from 27%

Grand totaling 14,410 damage from using evil crow and getting in all hits while using Dark circle..for the meager sacrifices I mentioned above you get a 3k damage bonus.

And *IF* Increase attack buff applys as well (I don't know if it will since its for physical and magic + damage and all damage will be curse damage due to dark circle) You get another +7% to that already insane damage.

Worth using?

Oh and the other question..Max paralyze? For the extra 4 second bonus of them being held in place? I think its worth it..but by using Circle..i'm already wasting so many points its almost insane the level i'd have to be in order to max it..I'm thinking i'll leave it as one of the last (Important) things I max since its only a 4 second bonus and i've got to have so many points for my blood/heal/buff skills.


And as you can see this is Entirely neglecting the last 2 skills on that page..not even 1 point @ lvl 112.

114 if you wanted one in each..just One.

Man segnales need hella levels..and thats without even so much as one in fish.

How are those last 2 skills are they reccomended to have over 1 point in each? Also do you see anything else wrong with that skill point allocation? Like is there some skill I skipped out on I should of put more into? Like vampire for instance..

hmm tbh i dont understand that build Whats the point on maxing blood hit and evil crow if ur build its not pvp oriented, also why leave fishing mastery at lvl 1, it would be useless cuz u wouldnt be able to get the good fish, also why leave revive at lvl 1... its all mixed up...

The point is to be a Pve damage dealer while using healing oriented skills as a support system..Recovery is only for when I party in things like deadfront to revive people..Idc about the fact their health with be - xx Amount they should be happy i'm even reviving them.

Those skills are the best two damage dealing skills..and since i'm a damage dealer first and a healer second..why woulden't I max them?

Fishing I woulden't leave at level 1..I would eventually make it 4 My point was @ that higher level I still woulden't have any free skill points to put into it..till I got slightly higher than the level depicted.

It's not mixed up really..I just think you don't fully comprehend the ideal of the build o_o

And you could pvp with this character if you wanted..not as well as some people but it would be quite possible to pvp.

Paralyze + CF + Crow + Paralyze + Blood Hit..and then the pattern starts back over with curse field then crow..then it repeats.

Constant attacks while they are stuck in place..Should be GG pvp for that matter.

Ok lets see, in df if one of ur ppl die and you res him with lvl 1 recovery they are as good as dead they will die easily so it is pointless to even have revive, if u plan to keep it at lvl 1, also if u wanna be a *Damage Dealer* why not max ur *Damage Dealing* skills and be full support/*Damage Dealer* leave the pvp to the pvpers, dont max paralize and curse mastery and keep all curses at lvl 1 for bosses.

Max all ur aoes and not your single hit skills.

For pvp i dont think you are taking into consideration the cooldown on your skills.

I am taking it into consideration.

By the time you hit paralyze and cast cf + cast Crow including their cast times Paralyze will probably be cooled off by then..even if its not then you throw in a blood hit before the second paralyze and you're still good to go.
