Hi So i just downloaded 2moon and downloaded the patch.. etc etc

i click start game... and this error pops up not sure what it is..... and ive heard many people having this problem..


it says alots of question marks...


and foriegn language.. almost like its tryin to connect but failes


anyone have any clue whats going on... willin to give some fg for anyone who can help me overcome this error and get into the game...


please pm me or just post some suggestions

fg easy to get... ^.^ i can just swipe my card OR sell some of my d2 items whichever comes first

like when iu click start the starter it loads... white screen than closes and show and error with hella quesion marks... and some foreign language

1) Restart your system (if you havent already) and launch the game using Launcher.exe file from the game directory-

The default path to this file is c:\Program files\Acclaim\2Moons (default)

• Navigate to 'c:\Program files\Acclaim\2Moons' using the 'My Computer' option or Click 'Start', Click 'Run', In the open Box, Type in - 'c:\Program files\Acclaim\2Moons' (default location)
• Look for a file saying 'launcher.exe'.
• Double-click on the file to run the game.
You can also right-click on the launcher.exe file and choose 'send to', click on 'desktop (create shortcut)' to create a shortcut on the desktop to use this method.

2) Check your firewall settings-

Add 'launcher.exe' in the program exception list, Please disable Windows Firewall if you have an alternate firewall installed on the system. Ensure that the ports – 7881, 8222 or not blocked on your firewall. If the game was working properly before, you may need to delete all exceptions or reconfigure (re-add launcher.exe) your firewall. Some firewalls create checksums of program data, and check these every time a program connects to the internet.


3) Ensure that you are attempting to launch the game under an administrator account-


To check if your account is an administrator account follow these steps -

For Windows XP users -

Click on 'Start', 'Settings', 'Control Panel', click on the option 'Classic view' on the left. Click the option 'User Accounts', Look under your account name to check if you find the word 'Administrator'

If you do not have an administrator account, create a new Administrator user account after consulting with your Computer's Administrator,

If you are using Windows Vista,

Click on 'Start', 'Control Panel', click on the option 'Control Panel Home' on the left. Click the option 'User Accounts and Family Safety', click on 'User Accounts'.

Look under your account name to check if you find the word 'Administrator'

If you do not have an administrator account, create a new Administrator user account,

You can also try running the application as administrator using the following steps -

• Navigate to 'c:\Program files\Acclaim\2Moons' using the 'My Computer' option or Click 'Start', Click 'Run', In the open Box, Type in - 'c:\Program files\Acclaim\2Moons' (default location)
• Look for a file saying 'launcher.exe'.
• Right-click on the file and click on the option 'Run as Administrator'.


4) Scan your system for spyware and viruses using the most recently updated Anti-spyware and Anti-virus.
