i am supposed to be playing this soon with a friend.. and from what i see, it kinda looks sort of like d2..kinda, but i was wondering, is there like mfing like as in d2? and is gold worth anything? ( i think its called dil? idk)

Also, what is a good class to start with? can anyone list a pros/cons of the classses, thanks

This game has a lot of pros and just like all of its mmo counterparts it has its cons


Pros:
Lots of fun
Decent amount of players
Most players are pretty cool
Lots of guild stuff
Several instance dungeons as well as deadfront to ease the grind
A good amount of events including 2x exp starting tuesday!
Open pk on lots of maps making for an ever interesting grind!


Cons:
Kinda grindy
There is a pserver with high rates pulling people away from the real game
Acclaim is having trouble with managing the game for some reason
There are more bots than I want to admit there are but you can just pk them


Over all I like this game, Dil is going to be your main need everyone sells in terms of dil and not in terms of items
Im not sure about mfing as I have only hit lvl 51 last night and haven't really made it far enough into the game to get a good idea about farming and such

bots are only annoying for the low lvl players, but u should be able to manage that coz u will be lvling from 34 to 50 in a solo dungeon where u wont notice them. afaik this are only farming bots. the economy is fucked up anyway so it doesnt rly matter i dont know why everyone is complaining about bots ^^

u can do "mf"-runs aswell, but not like in d2 killing bosses takes much longer, but the benefits are bigger. on higher lvl, u can run the lvl 60 dungeon to get to the final treasure and earn ~1m dil in 20 mins.

the game is pretty funny, except for the lvling part, it take much time to lvl in that game, but if your ready to spend time on a game go for it
i personally dont, that why i play on a private server, same fun but easy lvling at begin

it doesnt take long to lvl compared to other free mmorpgs. d2 lvling is WAY to fast, wow is ok, but it offers much highend content which is the real "grind" (grinding for highend items).

lvling in 2moons i really fast. it just seems to take ages coz most players quit at a lower lvl (40-70). on these lvls, it might take some hours to lvl up (lvl 54-55 takes long, but 55-56 is much faster coz of a new area).

See this:
54-55 takes 10 hours without deadfront (when i started to play, there was no deadfront ingame, but i managed it even without deadfront) grinding in norak 2
114-115 takes 10 hours with farming fortress vouchers + deadfronts

So as we get higher level (Just hit 52 and damn the lvl 51 skills were worth it) the levels will get faster because of newer areas? Are there frequently new areas or is it just like every 15-20 levels and is deadfront worth going to for the exp?

deadfront is worth it for sure, and its more fun. i dont know if its worth on the lower lvls, i was 90+ when it got released, but i guess its worth it coz u will have enough vouchers. 34-50 in nunvice dungeon tho ;D on ur lvl, deadfront might be one of the best ways to lvl up. coz of the lack of players in front of crespo dungeon, u will need to do deadfront at 60+ aswell. at 115+ it will be ur main expsource. im getting ~50% per day at lvl 120 atm, just farming 40 vouchers in 2 hours (~8-10%) and then 2 times deadfront with the farmed vouchers. thats not much playing imo

Sweet, thanks a ton and yes it appears that df is going to be the only way I can level at this point since there is nobody level 50ish on abbadon and norak 2 is full of bots so it looks like im stuck with df and nunvice, thanks for the info Nekony.

still, 10 hours per lvl is too much for me, i play roughtly 2 hours per day, being stuck on same lvl for 5 days isnt for me
