This one is a lot more polished and has tons of QoL improvements but it's still a souls game. If you're not used to the difficulty, it's pretty punishing. Fwiw if you ever get into them, they're also more rewarding as every piece of story or gear feels like a major victory and the power creep is on a wonderful curve

asked xbox for a refund. was awarded 64 dollar credit to my xbox store

Honestly if you every have any interest, pick up dark souls 1 or 2 on the cheap. Test out your level of masochism and if you get good pick up Elden Ring

Refund on a full price game you're not going to play makes sense, that price will come down eventually

ya not my kind of open world rpg. o well

If hilarious to me that new players rage quit because they aren’t good at the game right away
