Worked fine here. Had to link it to my battle net account first.
When launching d2r on xbox, it gave a code and provided instructions to go to blizzard.com/link
Login on the blizzard site and enter code, and that linked the console to bnet profile.
Worked flawlessly ever since. Playing on a series x as well as one x and both running fine. Only issue is I've had 3 disconnects in about 10hr of playtime, most likely due to server strain.
If it fails to do the above, could try uninstalling and reinstalling it on the xbox.
