Long time PS4 owner here thinking of buying an Xbox for Black Friday. Target is selling an Xbox s 1tb for $200 with Minecraft and a $20 Target gift card. Some of my favorite games of all time have been uncharted, final fantasy(older ones), bloodborne, and last of us. What am I missing on the xbox1 that I need to play? These days so many of the games are cross platform and I don't want to waste money if I won't play it much.

I will say i was a massive Halo 2 fan back in the day. I think reach was the last Halo game I played.

My wife's favorite game was the Viva pinata series.

I personally think xbox is better than ps, but to each their own. I wouldn't switch consoles for an xbox 1s. If you're going to switch, might as well go one X. If you're not willing to spend the extra, then dont do it.

A cool thing on xbox, is the gamepass. Which you can get free for 3 months and then is like 10$ a month. There is also a deal you can do wherr you can do montjly payments for a one X gamepass and gold pass. Its like 25/month.

As for console exclusive games, its subjective, but final fantssy is coming to xbox.

I dont have a 4k resolution TV so that upgrade wont matter too much to me I would think.

And I'm not trying to fanboy. Just honestly curious as to what great games I've missed.

Buy a one x. Even without a 4k tv, the load time improvement is quite noticeable over a one s or base one. The supersampling that it does on a 1080p screen is also very nice. You also will benefit from the catalog of enhanced for one x games.

Down the road if you buy a 4k tv, you have future proofed yourself to a certain degree.

As far as exclusives, you could get game pass, giving you access to a lot of content for a cheap price. Sunset overdrive, forza, gears of war, cuphead, ori, halo, titanfall, state of decay, PUBG, many of which are on game pass.

Agreed 100%. Xbox also allows many retro titles of older systems like n64. Which many are on gamepass.

Also forgot to mention game pass and games w gold are downloaded to the xbox and not streamed like that other console. No latency when playing due to streaming.

Ps can play games at higher frame rates and if look at the specs is slighlty better than xbox. Ps also has better games imo. Save your money and put towards the ps5 coming out soon.
