Just buy an Xbox elite. They let you customize all the buttons with an app on the Xbox letting you save 2 different profiles. Think the new ones will let you save 3 profiles at a flip a switch.

If you buy from Best buy and get extended warranty you can replace it every 2 years no questions asked. You just walk in return it and grab another one and buy the warranty again which is a % of the price of the controller. I have done this multiple times with electronics from Best buy and they never give me any issues.
