Any idea if this works? When I'm home from school I don't have wifi access, due to living in the boonies. Switched to Verizon's unlimited plan today, usually have 4 bars at home. We have a couple of the jet pack things lying around, curious if it would be enough for a stable connection.

My brother use his tmobile mobile hotspot to connect to Xbox liveTo play online with halo4 and bo2
Some games lag, and it takes awhile to find games, but it works ok

would that eat up your data plan at all?
even if you had unlimited they would throttle you after a certain amount.

So it's a device that uses your mobile plan to create a hot spot? Can't your phone do that?
