Weird, it's 2017 and you're still a loser that lives in a wood-paneled basement.

2016 was one of the best years for xbox that I can remember.

Ive never played uncharted so I can't comment if it's good or bad. Congrats I guess is in order although it means nothing to me.

How many games were made backwards compatible on psn? I've played dozens this year on xbox and I am curious what the competitors are doing to stay competitive.

The answer is none. having said that, while BC is a great thing for gamers it is not exactly a big deal to the console market in terms of moving units. Its great if you use it but generally people play new games as opposed to 10 year old games. Having said that I agree that it was a great year for the Xbox brand. The slim is selling great despite everyone knowing scorpio is coming,Gears and Forza were critically acclaimed and are selling well and we got other exclusives like QB,Recore and Dead Rising 4.

As for 2017 xbox has a chance to gain some ground. The scorpio is supposed to be much more powerful, and based on stuff being leaked at CES its not even close. A Halo game is coming out in the first quarter, while an RTS it will still perform well. And then on top of that they (hopefully) have Sea Of Thieves,Crackdown,Scalebound,Forza 7 and probably one more big exclusive to release in 2017.

I'm not convinced, I'll need hard facts to back this up. Please prepare a 10 page essay on how you plan to debate this and submit it no later than 7pm.

I agree with you. BC is not the biggest selling point, but they have nailed it in 2016. 2017 is looking bright for xbox, and sony will be on the defensive soon if not already, hence posts like OPs.

I wouldn't say no one cares but I get the point you are trying to make. Not everyone buys a console for the exclusives anymore. I know I didn't. Just wanted something to game on while chilling on couch or in bed. I don't own any exclusives at the moment.

I do like the way xbox has headed as more of an entertainment console than simply a gaming rig. I get a lot of use out it even outside of gaming.

Here's to 2017.
